Lately we have had some of the most dramatic sunsets in quite a while. So today I ventured out near the Marina Del Rey harbor area to capture this image during sunset.

During the CUELA Tech Faire at Culver City High School I had a few minutes to stop in on a presentation by a very good friend of mine. He was sharing his experiences on traveling to the Amazon Rain Forest with a group of students and the Impossible2Possible group. They trekked for several days through the dense rain forest to a village in which were greeted by the locals and became honorary members of their tribe. The story was mesmerizing.

They are in season, and when cooked properly, yes, Brussels Sprouts can taste quite good. In this case I drenched them with EV Olive Oil, smoked sea salt, minced garlic, and telicherry black pepper. Roast in the oven at 400 for 12 minutes.

While on the UCLA campus I made sure to have my camera with me to capture some "campus life" images. Next year I intend to lead a photowalk here. Lots of great architecture among other things to make photos with. My photo of the week will be from this day as well.

Today's photo is based upon a program being filmed on campus. First of all there is something being filmed at school at least once a month. In this case it is the Paul Reiser show. The "classroom" was set up in my good friends room. Amazing how TV and reality are vastly different. In this image you can see so much of what NOT to do with students. The most glaring thing here is the level of language used (Elementary) yet you also have long division on the board. They even covered the white board in the classroom in favor of all this "stuff."
