Sometimes some of our best angles for photos are simply looking up. I would call this one "Mirror Images"

Whenever I am on the UCLA campus I am always marveling at the architecture among other things. I can't wait to lead a photowalk here next year and hopefully for the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk.

Today I had to stop by Dreamworks Animation Studios. Unfortunately, it was not for work, but fortunately it was to pick up a used lense I wanted to purchase. The lense had barely been used and was exactly what I wanted. The NIkon 18-200mm VR f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX Format

Merenda for today. Mocha latte with three shots of espresso. Each time I get this I wonder can the barista make a shape in the foam different than the one they ALL do?

Prior to an after school meeting today a parent brought two boxes of cupcakes for the teachers. I chose this tasty treat here. The image was made minutes before it was devoured.

One of my favorite areas of Los Angeles to photograph is downtown. This image was made using the instagram app on my iPhone. I intend to return for more photos as the weather gets colder =)

During the CUELA Tech Faire at Culver City High School I had a few minutes to stop in on a presentation by a very good friend of mine. He was sharing his experiences on traveling to the Amazon Rain Forest with a group of students and the Impossible2Possible group. They trekked for several days through the dense rain forest to a village in which were greeted by the locals and became honorary members of their tribe. The story was mesmerizing.

Waiting my turn in line for a tasty merenda. I tried to highlight the numbers in this image with the lighting at the location.

They are in season, and when cooked properly, yes, Brussels Sprouts can taste quite good. In this case I drenched them with EV Olive Oil, smoked sea salt, minced garlic, and telicherry black pepper. Roast in the oven at 400 for 12 minutes.

While on the UCLA campus I made sure to have my camera with me to capture some "campus life" images. Next year I intend to lead a photowalk here. Lots of great architecture among other things to make photos with. My photo of the week will be from this day as well.
