Rather than focus on the usual cliché Christmas tree photo I decided to get in closer. The goal was to get more detail with some nice bokeh since I was using my 50mm f/1.4 lense. Merry Christmas everybody!!

Today's daily photo is courtesy of Mother Nature. We have been getting bombarded with rain for the past 5 days straight. So yes, it does rain in Southern California. But, today during a brief cameo appearance of Mr. Sun we were presented with this colorful treat!!
