Today was a Day of Discovery. The Discovery Educator Network offers a day of professional develop at KOCE in Orange County. DEN events are always an enjoyable learning experience. Today the session I conducted was on how to turn powerpoint into an interactive multimedia instructional tool. There were lots of attendees and that is always great considering I am spreading the ed tech word.

Even though I think Father's Office has the best burger in Los Angeles, I like this place as well. I am always looking forward to their burger of the month since it is often a unique and tasty creation.

In preparation for my trip to Australia I had to get some Australian Dollars. This place was recommended to me and I found them to be very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to anybody needing to exchange foreign currency or obtain foreign currency. Only 11 more days until I head down under.

It is so disheartening to see how many students refuse to take the test seriously, yet their scores affect so many others who do take their jobs seriously. I stand by my statement previously mentioned as well though, test scores are predictable by zip code. I also would love to see any of those merit pay advocates be assigned a class with these unmotivated and uncaring students.
