Today's photo is courtesy of the @dailyshoot theme of "Make a photo that will work well as a computer wallpaper" There are several things I like about this photo, but the main thing is the bird's intensive look for, of course, food.

While driving home I wanted to get a decent night shot of this area. I have seen lots of photos from this overpass and I wanted to capture the Santa Monica Pier sign along with the cars on the 10 freeway. Didn't come out quite to my satisfaction, but I will try again

While teaching of my students about Photography I wanted to show some of them creative ways to get "Product Photos" In this case it was this thermos. The point of the photo is to show that it can be used anywhere, even outside.

Took another class on a brief Photowalk today. This is one of the photos I used to demonstrate how DOF can be controlled more when you adjust the Aperture settings on a camera. The cool thing is the PTSA donated an SLR so the students that want to learn more advanced photography techniques can work with settings like Aperture
