Since I will not be focused on doing a Project 365 this year I will try to make sure a significant percentage of my images are either HDR, Exposure Fusion, or have some other creative post processing applied to them.
For the final photo of my Project 365 I wanted to capture an image of the final sunset of 2010. The photo is both symbolic as well as an appropriate theme for the end of the year and my 2010 Project. Not sure if I will go for a third year in a row, but I will continue to make photo throughout the year and post them.
Yep another fish eye. LOL. However, today's photo is following the @dailyshoot assignment of "Compose a photo following the Rule of thirds" However, to truly challenge myself rather than just making a photo following the rule my goal in this photo was to have some of the buildings hit all three intersect points of the rule of thirds grid. Also wanted to continue with my HDR architectural imagery.
Today's daily photo is based upon the @dailyshoot assignment #ds409 "Make a photo with as soft light source as you find or create." So this photo is the interior of a BMW M6 with some post production selective focus work done as well. Oh yeah and I used my trusty fish eye lense to help me get the entire interior.
Today's daily photo is courtesy of the @dailyshoot assignment #ds408 "Illustrate Coldness in a Photo" The "coldness" is this waterfall near Eaton Canyon. Not sure what the temperature of the water was, but it was most definitely cold. Although I didn't make it to the Eaton Canyon Waterfall (way too many people and the water flow was not safe to cross with camera equipment) I intend to return sometime during the winter.
Today's daily photo is courtesy of the @dailyshoot assignment #ds407 "Make a photo that emphasizes the horizon" In this case I made a fish eye image of the Venice Pier during sunset with as much of the horizon as a 10.5mm lense will allow. Over the left is another admirer of the sunset.
One of the best parts of the holidays are the "formal" gatherings around one central theme, FOOD. Add to that having meals before, during, and after Christmas always makes for a fun time of cooking and eating. Therefore, today's photo is a table set just before eating a great meal.
Staying with a "holiday" theme for my current 365 photos. The goal here was to crank the aperture all the way down to f/1.4 and adjust the shutter speed so that I could capture some of the detail in this scene.
