Today's photo is one of my favorite places to eat in Los Angeles, Father's Office. This place has the best burger in LA in my opinion. They also have an extensive beer collection with many top notch brews on draft. I am sure I will be posting more photos from here throughout the year.

Day trip to Franklin Canyon today. Believe it or not this photo is taken in the greater Los Angeles area (yes you read that correct). It's in the mountains separating Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley. Who would have thought that such a place existed in Los Angeles.

I also submitted the black-eyed peas as a North African style hoppin john, and for dessert a chocolate hot pot. All dishes use at least 3 of the adventure ingredients and all three are very flavorful.
