Today I had the privilege to teach a vibrant progressive group of educators how to use Google Earth at the MoblEd2010 mini-conference. This was a very cool mini-conference and I was very invigorated by the tone and attitude of those in attendance. Serious educational reform begins with events like this!!

In following with the @dailyshoot theme of "Metallic Monday" I had lots of options for a photo. Originally I was going to take a photo of one of my chef's knives, but while I was out and about I decided to take and use this photo instead. Don't see too many of these in Southern California anymore.

Today's daily photo is another one of my culinary creations, that I remembered to photograph this time. I prefer to grind my own meat when grilling burgers and this is one of those burgers. I also has carmelized onions, two cheeses (gruyere and aged cheddar), and has a Port BBQ sauce reduction. Very tasty!!

Today I had the pleasure of conducting a two hour basics of photography workshop at the Discovery Educator Network's "Day of Discovery" that is on conjunction with KOCE in Orange County. This room was filled with eager, innovative, and highly motivated educators. The 2 hours went by like it was only 5 minutes.
