Went to one of my favorite cafes to get some food. Of course I could never ever go there and not at least take a look at the sweets available. I ended up getting several you see here. Yum!!

During yet another wasteful, useless, meaningless professional development that was accentuated with another death by powerpoint, a few teachers decided it was a perfect time to get in a quick nap. Had this photo been taken 3 minutes prior you would have seen not only four teachers, but also one administrator asleep.

Sunday/Cooking/Baking Day. I had the urge to make something tasty and sweet. The result torta di pistacchio. Translation Pistachio cake. The picture does not do this justice. This is some really good stuff.

Heading back home from the CUE Conference I had to get this shot of Mt. San Jacinto from the freeway. Yes I was careful when I took it. Just love to get shots of the mountains and if I could have taken this with my really good camera I would have captured more detail and shadows.

On my way to the CUE Conference I had to get this shot from the front of the hotel. Who would have imagined you can see snow covered mountains in Palm Springs. This mountain is Mt. San Jacinto.

The start of the Computer Using Educators Annual Conference. Today I hosted the Google Learning Institute along with another Google Certified Teacher. Conference promises to be exciting, invigorating, and most importantly educating.

Today I received another donorschoose.org grant I wrote. This grant was for a classroom reference set of the titles you see here. Wish the school would support this type of learning, but since it cannot be measured on a test they are not interested. At least my students and I will benefit though.

Today the traffic was so bad I not only could take this picture safely, but I could have walked to work and arrived sooner. Some people should not be permitted to get behind the wheel of a vehicle, motorcycle, tricycle, or even a big wheel
