Back to the nice Los Angeles weather. Today's walk took me back to the Venice Canal area and yielded many photos. I chose this one for it range of color, light, and textures. The Venice Canals are a great place to take a leisure stroll, especially on a nice day.

While driving from the Google Workshop in which I was one of the lead instructors, I noticed this serene snow covered cemetary. Therefore, I pulled over and took a few photos. While the temp was only 13 degrees it was still a calm and serene area to be.

Arrival to Greensburg, PA. Weather called for snow and temps around 20 degrees. Seems in this case the weather forecaster was correct. Being from So Cal this weather actually did not bother me. In fact as long as you have the right clothing, it is not big deal. Of course that is easy for me to say since I do not live in it.

Today's photo is also today's dinner. Grilled veal chop with roasted green beans. The green beans also have roasted garlic, roasted shallots, and marcona almonds. Yum!!!

Today's daily photo is a Flat Stanley. A very good friend has her daughter send me this as part of her Elementary School project. It is based on the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. I will be sending this back to her at school with lots of goodies from Los Angeles.
