Rather than going to see the documentary "Waiting For Superman" I chose to observe one of my good friends and colleagues at school during class. He is the type of teacher that gets little to no recognition because he is simply doing his job. However, when looking into it more you see he does the following DAILY: inspire, motivate, parent, comfort, humor, babysit, patronize, educate, inform, befriend, and most importantly provide young minds with a positive influence. I am NOT waiting for Superman since he/she already exists in most of our classrooms!!
