While walking around school to get photos of the buildings for the Google Sketchup project I am doing with some students this is one of the photos that I took. I liked how the sky literally looks like a gradient we would use in Photoshop

The dailyshoot.com assignment for today is to take a photo with a good background. I believe this photo fulfills that. I've gotta get more photos of aircraft, particularly a 747-400 and an Airbus A380.

Since I missed the Faded & Blurred Photowalk at the Getty Center during the day today I decided to take a quick trip up before the sunset. The cool thing is parking after 5 if free and as you can see there is a whole different view of things. I had many other photos but this is one of my favorites. I used my 35mm f/1.8 lense for this photo. I intend to return here many times throughout the year at varying times of day too.

Today's dailyshoot.com theme was to take a photo of a symbol that stands for something. In this case I took a photo of a tattoo of my astrological sign. Of course this happens to be my ankle and the pattern is a West African Tribal pattern as well.
