While out on a school function I took this photo of two of my good friends and colleagues at work. Work is so much easier and better when you like many of the people you work with.

While in the library at my school I had to snap this photo of my school from the 40's. It is amazing how much has changed in this area since then. There is no freeway, there are horse stables that were a part of the campus, yet the amazing thing is the main buildings are intact and look exactly the same. Very cool!!!

So I decided to cook two days in a row. On the menu this evening: chicken parmigiana, strozzapretti with a basic marinara and pecorino romano, and roasted green beans with almonds.
