Took another class on a brief Photowalk today. This is one of the photos I used to demonstrate how DOF can be controlled more when you adjust the Aperture settings on a camera. The cool thing is the PTSA donated an SLR so the students that want to learn more advanced photography techniques can work with settings like Aperture

Headed home from a great trip to the Canadian Capital City. Hopefully I get to return and see more of the province as well as some of the other famous cities that are not too far away.

While heading back to downtown Ottawa instead of driving on the highway I took a turn and drove along the Queen Elizabeth road. This road runs along the Rideau Canal. At this time of year the tulips are also blooming so I had the unique opportunity of capturing these beautiful flowers. The color on these was so amazing that I could not truly capture what I saw with my eyes.

Today's photo is a black and white of the Canadian Parliament Building. I took many photos of this building and I love the architecture of the Canadian Government buildings. I felt this photo better representing the building in black and white considering the time of day in which it was taken.

Today while running errands I saw this advertisement. While I wholeheartedly agree our libraries should be spared of any budget cuts and such, I am wondering who paid for this ad in the first place?
