Even though we did not have sunny weather for the sunset on Uluru, I still snapped this wide angle view of the rock. What a view!!

After our stay in Melbourne we hopped on a flight to the center of Australia, Alice Springs. During the next portion of our adventure we were to stay one night at the Ooraminna Homestead Lodge. Here went spent the night in "swag" or in other words a sleeping bag. We originally were suppose to camp out at night under the stars, but since the weather was not cooperating we spend the night outside under a shed. The people here were so nice and genuine it was still a plesant experience.

Today we went on an excursion to the Healesville Animal Sanctuary. While there we watched a Bird of Prey show and I was fortunate enough to snap this photo. This is an eagle that lives in Australia and unlike the American Bald Eagle, this one has feathers all the way his leg.

Today we went on an adventure to the Otway National Forest. The trip involved a long and arduous drive along the coast. The famous road we were traveling on along the coast is known as The Great Ocean Road. I was fortunate enough to capture this image with no cars on the road.

During my first full day in Melbourne with the other teachers and students participating in this program we took a tour of Melbourne. I found so many amazing things to take photos of during this time. However, the Flinders Street Station was my favorite because of its' color, style, and architecture. Therefore, it was chosen for my photo posting of the day

Even though we lost a full day, since we crossed the international date line, I am keeping with my daily postings. Therefore, this is the first day of my arrival to Melbourne, Australia

Heading to the land down under, also known as, Australia. We flew on Qantas Airlines and since this was my first trip on an Airbus A380 I had to get this shot and use it for my posting for today.
