Today I had the pleasure of conducting a two hour basics of photography workshop at the Discovery Educator Network's "Day of Discovery" that is on conjunction with KOCE in Orange County. This room was filled with eager, innovative, and highly motivated educators. The 2 hours went by like it was only 5 minutes.

Udon noodles with stir fried chicken, carrots, and broccoli. The meat and veggies were tossed with a honey teriyaki sauce.

Today's daily photo is courtesy of the @dailyshoot theme "Be a reporter for your city or town..." This photo is of Ventura Blvd. in the morning before these streets are filled with thousands upon thousands of cars. It is truly amazing the impact traffic has on automobile travel in the greater Los Angeles area.

Before the rain clouds cleared out today I wanted to get this photo. This is a panorama from Griffith Observatory all the way west to Santa Monica. The observatory is very small on the right. On an even clearer day I will return to a similar spot to get more of the Los Angeles basin.

Today while conducting a Google Workshop for Educators at the TechEd 2010 conference I ventured outside to take this photo. There are lots of great photo opportunities in Pasadena, CA and this is one building I wanted to capture. At some point I would like to get a good photo of City Hall as well.
